Age Ratings and Age-Appropriate Access

Current state

No ByteOdyssey game is available for download from this site today, so no age gate is enforced here yet. Games playable now in Meta Horizon Worlds follow that platform's own age guidance.

How ratings will work

Each game will receive an age rating through the relevant platform or rating body before it is offered for sale or opened to a public playtest. Store and playtest pages will state the rating and the reason flags (for example fantasy violence) before access begins.

Playtests

Playtest builds may include content still awaiting final rating. Each playtest will state a minimum age in its announcement, and closed playtests may require acknowledgment of that age before joining.
